I thought that it would be kind of cool to post a thought and a new recipe each week. I love trying new recipes and I can always use inspiration. Every Wednesday will be a post for a new thought and recipe.

Dinosaur Park

Well we thought that we would give the dinosaur park in Ogden, UT another try. We had gone last summer and Justin and Jade had a blast, but Shaunee was scared out of her mind. We had a hard time convinving her that the dinosaurs were not real, and the noises that they made were coming from speakers hidden in the grass. Well this time she was sure that she wanted to go and that she wouldn't get scared, cuz the dinosaurs aren't real right. Well we get there and she is totally freaked out! She hangs back inside the museum and Jade, Justin, Jana, and I head out to check out all the dinosaurs. The two little ones are having a blast. When Justin and I would hear the dinosaur noises we would pretend that they were after us and start running. Towards the end, Karla convinced Shaunee to come outside and see the dinosaurs, and play on the dinosaur play ground. We had a lot of fun!!!!!!!

Like Father Like Son!

When Joe was little he wouldn't want to eat dinner and an hour or so later he would want cereal. One night this happened and his older sister, Karla said to him that if he didn't eat his dinner he wouldn't get any cereal. Well he wouldn't eat his dinner and later he wanted cereal. His dad and Karla told him no, and so he went and hid in the dyer and told them that he was going to stay in there forever unless they got him Cheerios.

Well.........Last night after dinner I found two little kids playing in the dyer. Justin and Jade both climbed into the dyer and shut the door, and you could hear them giggle when the light went out.

Kids say the darndest things!

For those of you who know Jade, she eats like there is no tomorrow. She eats more than Shaunee and Justin combined. If she is eating something that is hers you better not touch it, but if you are eating something, you better be willing to share. Anyway, yesterday I was eating a tomato and of course here came Jade asking for a bite. I gave her a bite of tomato and it wasn't long before she came back asking for more. She said, "More nonos please." Also last night we had chicken and she loves chicken. Well she scarfed up hers and then asked for Shaunee's. She said, "More bones."
Shaunee asked this morning if the dinosaurs were going to be back on the earth when Jesus comes again.:)
Continued conversation.......Shaunee asked her Aunt Jana this same question about dinosaurs and, Jana told her she didn't know, and Shaunee's reply was, "Well cave-men will be."
