Shaunee's first day of school

This is Shaunee's first day of Kindergarten. She wanted to wear this dress on the first day of school. She has been scared about going to school. She has been worried that kids will make fun of her, or beat her up. We have been talking to her telling her that there is nothing to worry about. She had so much fun! She goes to school from 7:45 until 2:30. We take her to school and pick her up. We live 7 miles from the school. She can ride the bus, but the bus would pick her up at 6:20 in the morning and take her to school. When school is out, the bus would drop her off at home at 4:00 pm We figured that was a long time for a kindergartner to gone from home.
